It's Summer in Thailand but my husband and I can't escape from work and go to the sea as we always did....so, we took a one day trip to WANGTAKRAI BOTANICAL PARK.
Wangtakrai, which is located in Nakorn-nayok province. It is quite close to Namtok Sarika (Sarika waterfall) , is a resort and a botanical garden belonging to the Chumphot - Phanthip Foundation.
Founded in 1962 by (Former) M.R.Panthip Barabhat ม.ร.ว.หญิง พันธุ์ทิพย์ บริพัตร. Before 1962 this is her and her pass away hubby, the Royal Prince Jumbhot-Barabhat private property. After his death, M.R.Panthip open Wangtakrai to public visit in 1965.
Wangtakrai encompasses a total area of 1,500 rai (about 600 acres) and is renowned for its scenic landscape, small rocky creek and wide variety of plants. In addition, there is a wide range of activities awaiting visitors including swimming, riding downstream on
