I love to travel and I love to read and study too, so I end up seeing alot of the places I have read about. I also love geology and roadside geology in the Americas is fascinating to me. I try to go between comfort camping and occasional pampering at hotels (TV and a real bed are nice) when traveling. I have been to Mexico 11 times and I am now hooked on getting a permit for me and my car - it is very enjoyable and empowering to come and go as you please.

Hobbies:

Swimming, diving, learning to surf, fishing, sampling local cuisine (anyone had a tlyuda in Oaxaca? YUM!), touring archaeological sites, libraries, museums, stone age villages

Favourite places:

I am currently hooked on exploring more of Latin America. Having grown up in London as a child,I was able to tour England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales before moving to the U.S.
