Porto Hotel review: Residencial Cristo Rei

+ : Well situated, close to the subway (5-10 minutes on foot) with a direct link from the airport, this residence caters mainly for younger and undemanding visitors, looking for an inexpensive place to stay from where to explore the city and environs.
Very pleasant and helpful staff at reception.
Lots of inexpensive places to have a meal very near by.

- : Rooms are sparsely furnished and offer no great comfort.
Also, although the street has little traffic, a room looking onto the street can be a bit noisy (rubbish collections, bar on ground floor next door etc.).
The bed in our "double room" was less than 4 feet wide (115 cm), which is small for two people...
