I finally got myself out of the house and went to the Waterloo Station. Bus 341 took forever to come and finally when it did it’s ticket machine was not working…so basically everyone with oyster cards traveled for free!!
Once there, I took the wonderful walk across South Bank. The river looked beautiful, shimmering with lights from the buildings illuminated along its bank. Essentially it was the place for people to sit on riverside benches and watch the world go by with a cigarette in their hands and a far away look on their faces. I would have done the same but I had to be at Tower Hill Station for the Jack the Ripper Walk.

So I continued my brisk walk. Crossed many joggers to whom the cold meant nothing cause they were all in shorts and Tees while the rest of us had layered ourselves upto our eyeballs with warm clothing...what a contrast! I guess there are many indirect benefits of adrenalin.. a discussion for anoth
