Zillur Rahman John is a mime Artist, Director, Teacher, Researcher and Author of mime books.

John participated 34 international theatre and mime festivals around the world. He directed solo, duet, trio, group, mimodrama productions and also conducted innumerable workshops on mime and pantomime art in different countries.
He has written books on this art form and also contributed more than 200 articles on arts and culture published in the Encyclopedia of Bangladesh.

Zillur Rahman John has received awards from many countries and has been honoured by the Canadian City of Edmonton. He received the award "The City of Edmonton Cultural Diversity in the Arts Award 2008".
