Krakow Guesthouse review: Cracow Guest Rooms

The location is excelent, less than 5 minutes to Wavel Castle, right in the Jewish quarter, 10 minutes from the Main Square, 4 convenient tram stations to the main train station. Really close to restaurants, bakeries, milk bars and fast food places.

The room I stayed in (single bathroom ensuite) was quite small, but reasonable for one person, I guess. Quite bright, with a skylight, which made it pretty difficult to sleep late. The bathroom was clean a plenty of hot water all the time.
The room needed a bit of vacuming, the floor (laminated wood) quite dusty.
It was on the top floor of a 3 storey building so a lot of climbing in and out.
No complints about quiet, didn't really run into many people.
Free Internet available at the reception, made use of it extensively without any problems.
Staff was nice, helpful, even though not all spoke English all that well.
Breakfast pretty basic.

All in all, even though I would look for something better next time, I can't say I am sorry I stayed there. The price was nice and the location allowed me to walk everywhere I wanted to go. If they threw in a little improvements (a biot cleaner, more attention to details, nicer pillows) it would actually be reasonable.
