Brasov Guesthouse review: LaDespani

Don't be put off by the approach - inside the gates it's quiet and secluded and the rooms are very modern and clean with a good-sized bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and there's a very comfortable lounge area. The pool and sauna are an added bonus and Daniel and Anu are very hospitable. Their two boys are well-behaved as is Lady, the labrador. They are always around to answer any questions and give advice about where to go/eat etc. and in the evenings will invite you for some home-made wine in the garden. It's a good walk into town from here but it's only two mintues by taxi - which are very cheap. This is a good bargain and there's enough to do round and about for a week - easier with a car as public transport can be slow.
