Offlate Kerala has been gaining importance as a " Travel Destination" in India...With Lush green surroundings, and the increasing "Health Spas" specialising in massages, and the house-boat which is a Honeymoon Hot!... With a friends marriage in cochin, a gang of us decided to make use of this opportunity to check out a bit of kerala... ( and for once managed to put our plan in action).
Cochin as such has nothing great to offer...Its got a lovely coast lined with the "Chinese fishing nets", a synogogue on one of the islands and a nice fort...though we did not check this
one... Our main aim was to spend a day on the house boat to revive and re-vitalise us....
We started of at around 4 in the evening( from Alapuzha).. the house boat was a novelty to us... well designed and well equiped too... After a hour and half around the back waters , we docked for the night. These guys donot move after 7ish..... With our pleading, he agreed to dock it away from the land....We spent the n
