Majayjay/Taytay Falls

I have never been outside Manila for a long time now. The farthest point I have been to is probably in Parañaque or in Alabang or in Cavite. So, this is my chance to break free from the usual sales routine. It is my chance to finally see trees and coconuts instead of papers and man-made steels and skyscrapers (which by the way is causing the extreme hotness in downtown Manila, especially in Makati Business District.

May 4, four in the afternoon, we went to Batangas. Lemery, Batangas is so, so far. Almost 5 hours of travel to reach the beach resort, shoot! I should have gone to Baguio instead. Anyway, as soon as we reached the place, there wasn't really something to e excited about. The sand is pitch black. The area wasn't really beachy type. It was just like a private backyard. I thought the beach resort was reserved exclusively to us, but it seems like the family who owns the resort is going to stay with us. Man! Where's the privacy.

I don't travel a lot. I swear. I would rather stay in my room than walking in the street under the scorching heat of the sun. Trust me, the heat here in the Philippines ranges from tolerable to unbearable, and sometimes you could call 'walking on sun
