Barcelona, Spain

We spent a couple of nice days in Barcelona also. Mom sponsored the hotel, so we stayed at a really fancy place on Las Ramblas. We were right in the middle of everything. It was a nice treat after all. Barcelona was also a very interesting city. It was totally different from Rome. It is more like a modern city with modern architecture. It was nothing like any other cities I had seen before. Gaudi's funky buildings makes it a very unique and impressive place. We saw the following buildings.

We also visited the park on the top of a mountain where Gaudi's home can be found. It is converted into a museum. Up there you can see the famous crocodile that Gaudi designed. It is the symbol of the city today.
