Edinburgh Hostel review: Student Residences Queen Margaret University

Poor organisation at reception over the weekend. The member of my team who I paid to have accomodated was supposed to be given a packed breakfast that I had paid for. I confirmed this on the Friday night when I checked in for him (as our meetings were to run late into the night and he would not arrive in Edinburgh in time to check-in and then attend.

Each morning the staff told him they had no knowledge of the breakfast and after a long delay he was given packed lunches (crisps, sandwiches, fruit, small water, jaffa cakes). Sadly as he is allergic to cheese & chocolate & the sandwiches had cheese on them he was unable to eat most of this.

When paying for the breakfast I was not informed it would be cold packed lunches, and was expecting the kind of breakfast at Pollock Halls. I was informed on the Friday it would be a packed breakfast
but thought this would actually involve breakfast foods
