Living in St. Maarten for now

We are new to travel blogs. This is our first entry. We have wanted to travel for many years and have done several trips overseas and to the Caribbean. These trips have been more like vacations than true traveling, but we enjoyed each of them. We are voluntarily retired and have been for the last 4.5 years. We have finally liquidated all our possessions in the USA and only have our condo in St. Maarten (SXM) that we have for sale.

We moved to St. Maarten to live in our condo until it is sold. Then we will begin our world travels. We are considering this our first stop although we may be here for awhile. We have been coming to the island for 7 years and really love it.

Today is February 16th and we have been here for 48 days. This is a record. Our longest stay previously was 35 days.
