Old Town Vilnius

We arrived in Vilnius with overcast skies and some rain. As it turns out, our baggage was lost. Great!

I was on a tour through Visit Lithuania and our driver took us to our hotel, the Mambre. It used to be a monastery but was turned into a hotel. We were to meet our group for dinner with almost no time to spare. As my mom and I entered our hotel room to freshen up, I joked with her..."Okay, I'm ready." We had no luggage and only our carry on. We met our group which, as it turns out, was a total of 4 people. My mom and I and another gal with her mother. Not a big tour group. Very nice.

Our first full day was still overcast. I'm still wearing sweats and sweatshirt from the whole day before.

We stopped at a bunch of different places over the course of the day. The first stop was Sts. Peter and Paul's Church. The inside was amazing. The inside was decorated with over 2,000 stuccoed figures representing different mythological, biblical, and battle scenes. Everything was white. T
