Best way to indulge in Kerala is to stay in any one of its beautiful villages,or stay in home-stays or B&B. Home food is not served anywere else! I am alost certain if you are living with a family there they would definitly guide you through your trip in Kerala.
Kuzhupilly is one such village I have discovered recently.
I would recommend 'Kuzhupilly village' in to anybody visiting Kerala looking for a non-commercial spot to stay or just chill for a month. Ideal for people looking out for accommodation off from the usual tourist places. This non-commercial village has a lot to offer for traveller looking forward to enjoy 'true Kerala'. Ample sea-food, very friendly locals, beautiful beach and backwaters.
To me Kuzupilly is a a paradise village with its backwater and beach combination. Hardly 100m between both! Untouched!
Check out 'Kuzhupilly beach house' for accommodation there. A beautiful family house.
Its just 40 min away from Ernakulam, Fort kochi and cochin interlationa
