Well I have just got myself a teaching job in Samcheok in South Korea so I shall be heading out there in the next few weeks so I will try to keep this blog going (I haven't done one before) so I can keep in touch with all you good people out there. I will write more when I have more news.
Hong Kong Hostel review: Dragon Hostel Hong Kong
The Dragon Hostel is in an excellent location, right next to Mongkok station and surrounded by busy streets for shopping etc. The rooms are very small but that is to be expected in HK. It is very clean and all private rooms that I have stayed in have had a TV. Last time I stayed there I booked a room without a toilet as it was cheaper, but when I got there my room did have a toilet but I didn't have to pay extra for it. the staff are very friendly and there is free internet. There are no real amenities, just free tea and guide books, but as it is right in the middle of Mongkok you don't really need any. There is a lift up to the hostel so it may be accessible for wheelchair users, although I would ring them in advance as some of the rooms are up stairs and I think there is a small barrier type thing at the door which may be difficult to get a wheelchair through. All in all, an excellent hostel and one which I always use when I visit HK.
