Who would have thought that after living in San Diego for over 6 years that I still had not gone to many of the tourist sites that millions come every year to see. First stop... Birch Aquarium in picturesque La Jolla. At a mere $12 admission, $9 for seniors, it definitely won't break the bank. Some may say it is small, but it is definitely packed full of sea life and information about our environment. I would definitely go again since after 3 hours I still didn't even come close to seeing everything.

We also happened to walk by the large kelp tank right before the 2:00 kelp dive show where you get to see a diver feed the fish and sharks in the tank.
