Interlaken Hostel review: The Lazy Falken Backpacker
Entertaining? Absolutely. The Lazy Falken was a little difficult to find at first because of a confusion with the name. Actually called Falken Hotel on the side of the building, but easy enough to go in and ask. The room was VERY small and cramped but it is more than comfortable if you just need a place for a night while you make your way elsewhere. I didn't find the service to be anything special, just men and women doing the job they signed up for. But in comparison to the many other places I've stayed I loved the art and energy that filled the walls of the falken, and felt it was the most entertaining hostel (a live band was playing the bar below the sleeping quarters) that I've had the pleasure to stay in.
Interlaken Hostel review: Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof
Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof provided a very surprising experience. No stranger to hostels, Backpackers was more like a hotel with a few polite guests sharing a room with you. I was very pleased with the include breakfast, easy internet and print capabilities, and friendly staff who helped us plan our days adventures down to which bus number we would be taking and at what time.
