Were home in lovely USA

Posted by ctillis | 13th June 2006

Hi !!!!!!!!!!!
We got home about 4:30pm today, Tuesday, June 13th. Kevin had to remind me I would just be getting home from W_ _ K at this time. That has not been in my vocabulary for 2 weeks and I still can't say it. Anway, the shuttle dropped off Billy & Kathy at their home first and then us.. yeah.... we made it and we had the time of our lives, and got to experience so many things. Billy and Kathy and us were a team that could handle just about anything, and we have some stories to tell.

We woke up this morning at 3:45 from our St. Marcos Hotel in Venice to catch a water taxi at 4:20 to take us to the Venice Airport to catch our 7:20am flight. (this is Italy time). Now mind you we in the US are 9 hours behind; so as I'm typing this from home, it is now 7:00pm, California time and we are still up. So it would be 4:00am in Italy right now, which means we have been up for over 24 hours. Yikes!

It was still dark when we checked out this
