For so many tourists, a trip through Belgium is just a bus ride and a stop in Brussels for an hour and the lucky ones even get a stop in Bruges for another hour and they saw Belgium. Unfortunately for them, they missed the point!
If you are visiting Belgium you should take out at least a day or 3-4 to get the true feeling of the Belgian legacy.
What do you know about Belgium? First of all, everyone there speaks English. Strangely enough the country is divided into 3 language sections: the Northern part is the "flemish" or Dutch part neighboring Holland; the South part of Belgium is French; a very tiny little South Eastern section is considered German speaking. None of these languages however are the true Dutch, French nor German spoken language, they are all dialects.
