Citizenship: CanadaReturned to Vancouver, BC, in 2004 after six years in southeast Asia working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and traveling the region extensively. Miss the tropics lots, but a new adventure beckons: a family. Birth of our first child in February 2005, whom we named "Bodhi" after Bodhgaya in India where we got married and had the most magical time of any place we've ever traveled.
Hobbies:Rock climbing and photography.
Favourite places:For cities: Beijing. For solitude: Mongolia. For mountains: Nepal and the Rockies in Canada. Koh Phi Phi for the rock climbing and the parties. And Prince Rupert, BC for steelhead fishing.

Searched as a family for good kim-chi and bi-bim-bub, as well as places for little Bodhi to enjoy himself in Seoul. Still one of the best places in Asia to hang for a few days to kick back, drink some Cass beer, let your kids run amok in the "Children's Grand Park", and scarf down some of the best priced eats in the region.
