Christchurch Hostel review: Thomas Hotel - on Hereford

I stayed in a private room at Thomas Hotel for a night. It's pretty basic accommodation and what you'd expect for the price. The shower wasn't the best (but not the worst I encountered either). Location-wise, it's right near the Arts Centre and Hagley Park, so it's a great spot.

Christchurch Hotel review: Hotel So

Hotel So is quite luxurious for the price. The rooms aren't huge, but they're well designed and have everything you need. I felt like they were comparable to some of the 3.5/4 star hotels I've stayed in, with the most noticeable difference being the room size. Location-wise, it's a three minute walk to the Cathedral and the centre of Christchurch, and very close to the central bus depot.

Wellington Hostel review: Wellywood Backpackers

Great location and good value for reasonable accommodation. I stayed in a private twin room and it was relaxed enough. Nothing exceptional, but just a friendly place where you can be social if you want to.
