A simple person with a simple plan in life!

Recent trips: Dublin, Sligo, Toronto, North Carolina, Rome, Florence, Paris, Madrid and Asturias. Currently based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Fortunately I was able to visit Thailand (Pathumtani area, Ayutthaya, Rangsit, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Koh Chang, Bangkok, Koh Samet and some areas in the countryside), Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan (Nagoya, Tokyo), New Zealand (Auckland), England (Newcastle, London,Kettering, Luton, Birmingham, York, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester), Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow), Republic of Ireland (Dublin, Dundalk, Drogheda, Donegall, Sligo), Belfast and other counties in Northern Ireland, Finland (Helsinki), Sweden (Stockholm), Australia (Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne), USA (Atlanta, Seattle, New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, New Jersey, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Berkeley, Chicago, other parts of California like Menniffe, and of course some of the 7,107 islands in my home country, The Philippines.

Future destinations before the year ends and some part of 2009/2010: England, (Manchester, Leeds), Scotland (Edinburgh), Dubai, Spain (Barcelona and Mallorca), Italy, France, Switzerland, Bahamas and Florida, Las Vegas, Thailand (2009), Australia (2009/10), and southern part of the Republic of Ireland. There might be changes on these itineraries between 2008/2009 but watch out for my reviews on these places in the near future.

Hobbies:

travelling, reading, writing reviews and travel journals, collects beer mats, taking photographs, swimming and play badminton

Fabulous California Bay's Trip

DURING MY THIRD VISIT to the US last 2006 summer, I was able to stay longer (for almost 4 weeks) and visited some part of California State. San Francisco is one of them for the very first time.

A month prior to my departure from Britain, I contacted my friend working in San Francisco with an IT firm if I could stay at his place during my short visit. Being a close friend and the godfather of his only daughter, he did not hesitate to answer ‘yes’ to my request. So, my accommodation for few days at the city is completely ok except that I will be travelling from my cousin’s place in Menifee (one hour away from San Diego by car) to Los Angeles, and then finally from San Fernando Valley to SF.

To save some dollars during my trip, I decided to travel by bus (Greyhound) which took me more than 10 hours along the road, having a two-day stop in San Fernando Valley (LA) and had a quick visit to the Universal Studios. Well, within that long journey it took the bus more than 6 hours to reac
