About edav867:

I've always been the type of person who likes to see things from the ground up with out sacrificing basic comforts (i.e. safe, affordable sleeping accommodations). My wanderlust was influenced originally when I read an article in the 7th grade about a guy named Peter Jenkins who set out to find the real America on foot after becoming disillusioned in the mid 70's. Kerouac's 'On The Road' also was a huge influence as was a story my great uncle, Ted Houghton, told me when I was an impressionable teenager, about the time when he and a buddy of his hitchhiked to Florida to buy a car back in the late 1930's when he himself was only 15.

Hobbies:

Photography, history, modes of transportation, meeting different people and wondering what's at the end of a long road, the other side of a hill or around the next corner.

Favourite places:

Any place where people are cool and they have good beer.

But we were hungry so shortly after situating ourselves we hit the street and found a restaurant and then a pub where I discovered Paddy’s Irish whiskey, some of the smoothest, tastiest of whiskeys I’ve ever had. Come to find out, much to my dismay and
