A week of Agony

Well, after a long hiatus, I am back to write a somewhat sorrow and somewhat entertaining entry to help ease the pain of a recent tragedy. This week has been a constant difficulty - a week filled with the feeling of helplessness, fear, anxiety, concern, and overwhelming sadness. Let me first extend my condolences to those still trapped in the city that I love - New Orleans. All of us who live there feel the overwhelming sense of pain that has accompanied this tragedy. My friends and I are in a labryinth of nothingness - a virtual purgatory. We have no clue whether our apartments have survived the wind, water, or looters in our famed city. Many of my friends have no clue where their educational career is headed. I have turned out to be a little more fortunate than the rest. However, this time has been difficult for all of us. We have lost a city that found its way into our heart and we all want dearly to go back to that love - to the City that Care Forgot (no shit, eh?).
