About fruitlups:

I'm a person who simply loves a good cup of coffee and interesting conversations. I want to learn photography soon. I have been to most of our southern islands, Asia, Indian subcontinent and North America.

I started the year with a client trip in Maynard, MA and a good work trip, with me training a class of indian men in Bangalore. The BKK-Joidpur-Kathmandu dream would have to be shelved. I need to see Europe this year!
Pray that I get to see Positano soon.

I am planning a Laoag-Vigan-Pagudpud Trip this June and a Thailand trip this July.

Hobbies:

Reading, Sleeping (hehe), Bowling and Writing.
Its therapeutic to clean keyboards. I sing aloud even when I should not. I enjoy arguments but not really into fights. I love seeing new places. I'm trying to get into photography.

Favourite places:

any coffee house :) anyplace where I can explore.
in the US... I really like Chicago & San Francisco.
Camiguin Island is the best in the Philippines.

THE POINT WHERE WE WERE

Posted by fruitlups | 27th February 2007

[i]What will this bring me? I asked myself. Our banca has passed Sombrero Island and I'm seeing a big rock. The wind has stopped speaking; ending our conversation as if introducing the rock and all else that I will be meeting in the next 5 minutes.

Shall I say, pier? Bamboo walkways invited us off the banca. We followed it sincerely. Being rude will simply mean down to Balayan Bay. I'd thought I'd see a cove or beach once we went around the rock, but no we were greeted instead by short trees aligned like a gate. Where is the beach in the brochure? Fortunately, the gate had doors - a narrow trail that opened up to an accidental marsh on the right and thick greenery on the left. And in a split minute, it called my eyes - white sands, driftwood and corals. Welcome to SEPOC POINT! I felt the smile - from my facial muscles, to my tummy and down to my toes. This is where we were last weekend.

It's not just about being happy. It was Happiness seeing me.

Spent the night in Kuala Lumpur as a side trip to my Singapore vacation. Never thought I would really like Petronas Towers. It is simply regal. The taxi drivers are the downfall of KL. I will try to come back and relax in Penang.
