I am a writer, photographer and digital imaging consultant who has spent most of the last 30 years living and traveling in Asia. I keep a US base but spend very little time there. Recently I took my now nine year old son to the US for two years and when he was not in school we traveled the roads of America. We took two trips by car from one end of America to the other with the eastern point being Calais, Maine (plus New Brunswick, Canada) and the western point being the coast of California (from Los Angeles to San Francisco).
