The Long Road Home

Well, clearly I survived, but I’ve never wanted something to be over more in my life. If my internal time zones weren’t messed up after my first overnighter to NYC, they were definitely screwed after spending 12 hours waiting at JFK & flying 6 hours to LAX! 2 things lucky happened to me on the last route, unfortunately, neither of them were an upgrade!

I managed to get around 8 hours sleep, which was a blessing, having only slept about 4 hours in total before getting to LA (Thanks Boks!) & I had a cool row mate, only two of us at the arse end of the plane. Which after having a string of people who weren’t friendly enough to say hi back, was a nice surprise.

Was it worth the amount I saved on a one way ticket home.... well, I lived, so yeah it probably was!
