Havana Apartment review: Casa Julio

I stayed in Casa Julio for about one week between May/June 2009 during my traveling in Cuba. I booked trough travellerpoint.com, the flat is very nice and clean, the room was large and with bathroom.

The place is managed from an old lady called Marta, the mother of Julio, she's a very strict lady. She told me that is not allowed to bring in the flat any girls, any friends etc. etc.

There is only one lift, and sometimes it takes a while on waiting. The closest internet point is at the President Hotel a 5 minutes by walking. Near by are plenty of ATM macchine to withdraw cash with the credit card.

However the next time, if I'll come back in Cuba, for sure I'll try another accomodation (casa particulare).
