Auckland Hostel review: Ponsonby Backpackers

The kitchen was quite clean with ample room for food storage.

The bunk beds were not so good since they rock easily; especially if you have a person who kicks in their sleep beneath you!

The washing machine only used cold water?! A little inconvenient if you do not buy cold water washing powder. The Italians were not happy! and neither was I for that matter.

Also, there is a little problem with seating in the TV room since I had to stand on occasion and lean against the sofa.

This hostel is ok for a few days whilst you get something better fixed. All in all, it's a non-returner.
