Ho Chi Minh Hotel review: Bich Duyen Hotel

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during September 2009. I had a single room but it was very nicely equipped with a TV, Bar fridge, Fan and Aircon as well as a very nice bathroom with shower only.

The Location is very good, as it is right where all the action is and close to most attractions, BUT in a quiet side-alley, so one could sleep peacefully. To older people, consider the fact that there is no lift but only a steep staircase, so ask for a room on a lower floor.

Everything was spotlessly clean, but the most commendable fact is the excellent service and helpfullness of the hotel Manager. Tours and Taxi's booked was immediately done and confirmed and he was so helpful and friendly in recommending tours and with other information as well. Everything worked, was on time and all with a smile.

The breakfast offered is simple and more of a "Continental" nature, but sufficient to get one started for the day. There are hundreds of small street restaurants in the immediate vicinity to grab something more substantial.

I will return to Vietnam and Bich Duyen will surely be my place to stay at again. Excellent location, value for money and friendly service.

Kuala Lumpur Hostel review: Classic Inn Budget Hotel

I stayed at this Hotel 2 nights during September 2009. My room with a single bed was very nice and well equipped. Everything worked well. The location of the Hotel is excellent,.. just across the street from what I understand to be the largest shopping centre in KL. (Great for shopping). Tours booked through the Reception desk was immediately confirmed and the service at the Reception desk was excellent.

Breakfast consisted of some fruit, bread, egg and some coffee. The variety could perhaps be a bit bigger.

All-in-all a very good stay and a Hotel that I would recommend.
