Washington DC Hotel review: The Allen Lee Hotel
It is a little misleading if you book through the travellerspoint website. First, be aware that the price you are paying for a deposit isn't actually a deposit. Travellerspoint actually boosts the price of the actual room so that your "deposit" is actually their service fee. Second, it says they serve breakfast. They serve coffee and toast and bananas. Don't be expecting bagels or eggs or any sort of buffet or fruit like you'd get in other hotels. The rooms are small, but the beds are very comfortable. My suggestion: save yourself some money and just contact the hotel yourself. You will save substantially by avoiding Travellerspoint. It is false marketing to say that the price of the room is one thing and that the "deposit" is a deposit when actually, it is a service fee.
