Cinque Terre Hostel review: Cinque Terre Holidays
You get what you pay for - this was one of the cheapest options for staying in the Cinque Terre, given that we were only two people and so not enough to rent an apartment. You share a small apartment with random others, as you would in a hostel. It was right on the tiny main street of Riomaggiore, very convenient for everything. A bit noisy in the mornings when the delivery trucks came but I've stayed in much worse. Toilet seat was broken, shower was a bit erratic and only had cold water until we asked for some hot, but they cleaned the apartment every day and were very (too?) keen on removing anything left lying around (e.g. our towel, which we never managed to recover). But they were friendly enough, spoke enough English for us to be understood easily, and it was exactly what we needed. Cooking facilities were basic (hobs, pots, plates, cups and cutlery) but fine.
