Seville Hotel review: Hotel Abril

The room was nicely decorated and spacious - my only complaint was that it smelled of smoke and there was no outside window to let fresh air in. Perhaps it was just this one bedroom that had this problem? They were fully booked so it was not possible to get another bedroom.

Granada Apartment review: El Granado

A lovely brand new hostel, combining the charm of a beautifully restored old building done in the Spanish/Arabic style with a little bit of Swedish modern practicality thrown in!

The owners (a young Spanish/Swedish couple) run the hostel very well, keeping it all very clean and are also very friendly and offer lots of useful advice about what to see and do in the area.

There is a communal dining/kitchen/lounge area for everyone to meet up in and relax. The facilities are good and there is a very comfortable homely atmosphere there.

The location is central and everything you need or would want to visit is nearby.

My only complaint is that sometimes you could not have breakfast till 9am, as they wanted to clean the kitchen first!
