Surfers Paradise and Brisbane

Hello to all who have stuck out this travel blog thus far. You are to be rewarded as usual by average photos of some unphotogenic people! Since the last update, we are continuing our journey up the East Coast. Stopping for 5 nights in Surfers Paradise (yes, that is actually what the town is called!), and not doing a great deal actually. The hostel (Trekkers) comes highly recommended though. One of the few hostels that doesn't try to cram in as many people of possible. We met a few people there, 2 of which we are still hanging around with in Brisbane (Rachel and David).

We spent a day at Warner Brothers Movie World which was a laugh. It was really quite quiet, so minimal queues (always good). The Superman ride throws 4.6 G at you in the bends, Lethal Weapon threw us upside down I don't know how many times, and the Batman Ride throws you up (and consequentially down) at a ridiculous speed.
