Riga Hostel review: Central Hostel Riga

Riga is an expensive city (especially regarding the accommodation), so I would expect a little more comfort from my hostel with this price somewhere else. However, Central Hostel Riga is a very cozy place with a friendly staff who are willing to help you out with anything you have in your mind. Our double room with a bathroom was very plain and moderate, but we enjoyed it. However, the doors of the rooms are very thin, so this could be a problem, if people are talking at night. But because it surely is a place of the backpackers, usually everybody is sensible enough to take it into consideration. We really liked the way the breakfast was served.

Vilnius Guesthouse review: Florens Boutique

We had reserved a room with a double bed, but when we arrived we were given a room with two single beds! So we were really disappointed first, since when asked about this the staff just apologized but did nothing to the matter. However, the room was really nice and clean, so although service lacks the high quality of the rooms, it was a very pleasant stay with a reasonable price. We didn't get disturbed of the railway one hundred meters away from the hotel at all - if you are not used to urban living, that might be a problem at nighttime. We slept like babies.
