One of my most memorable experiences was a stay in Okonjima and tour of the AfriCat sanctuary. They rescue cats from traps that farmers/herders use to keep these wild cats from eating their livestock. I could tell you more about what they do, but there are several articles that can provide more accurate info. I wanted to tell you what I got out of this experience. There were several things that made this one of the best experiences of my life. We saw animals up close and personal. We stayed for a few days, and each day had a new animal experience.
