My attempt with Winston and Alvin to climb Mt Rinjani from 10 May 2007 ~ 12 May 2007. We traversed from Sembalun Lawang to Senaru. Only Alvin managed to reach the peak in the early morning of 11 May 2007. Winston and I had to abandon the attempt with the summit within sight due to the scary and dangerous trek ahead. We also descended to the Segara Anak crater lake later that day. Overall, it was still a great walk for us.
