Occupation: Student / MetbloggerI'm just getting started on TP despite having been registered for a while. Life is a-changing, and hopefully I can be on the road a bit more from now on.
Europe (particularly France and Italy) is my main playground, and I'm normally a long weekend/week traveller. But I'm ever expanding my travel destinations. Apart from most of Western Europe, I've also travelled parts of USA, Canada, SE Asia and South Australia. Methinks my next major venture should be Africa or South America ;)

When you depart on a new travel adventure, be it for a few days or a few months, you leave behind family and friends who would like to get some news update now and then, particularly if the journey takes you to places that they’re excited about, or where they have little understanding of, and therefore are anxious about your health and safety while you are away. For some of the closest and dearest, this is also their opportunity to live vicariously through you, so why deny them the joy?
So what are your options, and how can you stay close (while physically at a distance) without busting your travel budget?

Paris is home away from home, and I'm there whenever I can. You can usually find me with my friends, looking for delicious goodies around the City of Light. I've also travelled parts of France.

I lived in Malaysia until I moved to Ireland when I was a teenager. I still go home every so often to visit family and friends, but my knowledge may be limited. Nonetheless, I'll help if I have the answer.
