Holy Moose!

Went to Noras for a nice breakfast and then decided to go for a hike looking for wild huckleberries.

The hike was hard work as it was very very hot (31 C) and we were going uphill... my poor wee legs.
Which made it even better was that Jeff told me to make noise as there were bears and mountain lions in that area!!!

We were about 75% to the destination when we decided that we had not seen any berries at all and that it was probably too late in the season for then, so we turned back. I was happily snapping pictures of the flowers and the mountains peeping through the trees when Jeff told me to "STOP". I had my head down switching off the camera and when I looked up I saw a big brown shape at the other side of the tree I was near. I was lost for words and frozen to the stop wondering if it was a bear or a moose or what! Jeff caught up with me and the shape put its head up and looked at us... it was a moose but that d
