Citizenship: USAI love travel, especially to Africa. I've been to Swaziland and Kenya and I'm constantly looking for opportunities to get involved in nonprofits that benefit African nations. I'm looking to start a new nonprofit to help Rwanda and Swaziland, through the University of Redlands.
Favourite places:San Francisco, Seattle, Portland. National Parks of Kenya.

Things to do/possible to do in a short roadtrip to the Pacific NW.
1. On the way to Portland take a drive through the college town Ashland, known for its Shakespearan Festival
2. Get lost in Powells books, which stretches a whole city block downtown
3. Hike to the top of Multnomah Falls just 20-30 miles outside Portland. It's a steep 1.5 mile climb, but worth the burning in the thighs.
4. We didn't quite have the time, but there's Wolf Haven, a wolf sanctuary, as well as a wild animal safari both short detours from the 5 North on the way from Portland to Seattle.
5. In Seattle, the 6th Avenue Inn is a resonably priced hotel downtown, close enough to walk where you want to be.
6. Do the Space Needle along with the Experience Music Project, but allow enough time to jam with your friends if you are even slightly interested in music. The Needle in my opinion wasn't worth the 16 bucks, unless you splurge and do the dinner in the rotating cabin up top. Unfortunately for tw

This trip to Swaziland was a 10 day volunteer trip to help in the HIV/AIDS affected areas at orphanges, gardens and medical clinics.
