Interlaken Hotel review: Gasthof Schönegg

The people who run this guest house are very nice and helpful. However, the location is terrible. You must take a bus that runs only once an hour from Interlocken to get to it. If you have very little luggage you can walk once you know the way, but it is very inconvenient relative to staying in town. The room I had was very cramped (had to put my suitcase on the bed to open it) in the basement with a view of a stairwell from the only window. I hit my head on a cabinet in the bathroom that was poorly placed. I would never stay here again.
