Tokyo Hostel review: Khaosan Tokyo Smile

I had read the Japan Guide Book written by a Thai couple, Voot and Kate, who strongly recommend "Khaosan Tokyo Smile" before I left for Tokyo. Three of us spent 4 nights at "Khaosan" happily and agree with Voot and Kate that it is worth staying and the cost is inexpensive. Its location is the best. It is only 10-15 minutes away on foot from Nakamise Dori and Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, just across the Sumida River and you will find a peaceful and quiet residential area where "Khaosan" is located. Furthermore, I found it was convenient to travel from "Khaosan" to Narita Airport. We took a taxi for only 1200 Yen to Ueno Station and then took Skyliner to the Airport.

"Khaosan Tokyo Smile" was one factor that made my backpacking trip to Tokyo ended up beautifully.
