I thought it would be appropriate to start the walk not at the starting point of the West Highland Way, but rather from my own front door. The Kelvin Walkway passes by my house and this leads to the Allander Walk which in turn leads to the start of the West Highland Way.
So that's what I did.
Pictures to follow . . .

I went to Inverary for the day - it's about a two hour drive from Glasgow. I was just looking for something interesting to do at the weekend. PLEASE DON'T GO THERE! It was nothing but a tourist trap . . . £9.00 for a fish supper!?!?! It's not exactly a prime destination either. It's places like that that bring the reputation of the whole country down.
If anyone needs help regards travelling around Glasgow or West Central Scotland, give me a shout. I also know all about travelling from Glasgow to the rest of the UK and Europe. Hope I can help.
