Marbella Apartment review: Marbella El Faro Inn

Easter 2009.
The El Faro is in an ideal location. Less than five minutes from the beach and seafront restaurants, shops, and lovely promanade for long walks.
Accross the road from a number of tapas bars, glass of beer €1. Glass of red decent red wine €1.50.

It is less than ten minutes walk from the beautiful old town and close to bus services. We emailed to request a second or higher floor, quiet room if possible. This request was granted but we asked to be changed as our room overlooked a derelict site behind the Inn. We were then without fuss given a room at front of house with sunny balcony from 2pm. Street noise quietened down between 12/1am. Beautiful flower decked terrace area beside small pool.

I quess the management of the El Faro have no control over this derelict site. They are however growing tall trees to obscure the unsightly view eventually but not sure they will grow tall enough to block it off from the higher floors.

I would give the reception staff 10/10 for friendliness, helpfulness and politeness and their command of the English language. They even printed out our boarding passes when we checked in on line for our return journey home. Defenitely would stay again.
