Well, it happened again! Another city, and the weather was brilliant yet again! Paris glowed in radiant sunshine and high temperatures for the duration of our stay in this wonderful city.
An easy to use Metro system allows access to all of this city's great sights.
Over our 2 whole days, managed to climb the Eiffel Tower, see Scare Couer, Arc De Triumphe and visit the Louvre & see Mona Lisa. Walked plenty of miles so as to see as much of the city as we could within our limited time here.
Since my last visit (1983) attitudes have changed amongst Parisians - most now I found to be friendly (businessman helped us with the ticket machine at the Metro!) and English is widely spoken. This I found a little annoying as I thought my basic French was coming along nicely - soon as I opened my mouth, the locals immediately returned conversation in fluent English!
City is fascinating, full of interesting places to see and good food to enjoy!
