Auckland Hotel review: Aspen House Hotel

We got the impression that this place was a decent place to stay, not too fancy but fairly newly refreshed. This was NOT the case. We got a shabby room with an incredibly uncomfortable double bed, in a room which made you feel you got dirty just by staying in the room. Likewise the shared showers were also not nice, with painting falling off the roof and walls. It really has to exist better places than the cheap rooms as Aspen House which have a higher quality than this hotel. And in addition, we also got towels which were not nice at all, coloring a lot, but since they gave us new towels immediately we can give them a 2 star for the service. The only real good thing here is the location.
