Sydney Hostel review: Strattons Hostel

Good hostel. Quiet not a party hostel. Fairly clean great location. Good if your working. Staff were nice and cheap pub meals downstairs were decent. No TV room or really anywhere to socialise. Kitchen was very small but adequate just avoid at peak times. Staff were really nice and helpful but very much just a bed place avoid if you want to party or socialise within the hostel. Good if your passing through or working.

Sydney Hostel review: Glebe Village Backpackers

No lockers they will not store you laptop in the safe. Kitchen dirty intended to stay a couple of weeks got out after one night. The linen i recieved was old and threadbare. Its also not as close to the city as they make it out to be its actually a 30-45 min walk. Pretty expensive hostel for what it is. Bus is out the front but $3 to city each way which would add up. Staff were unhelpful but other guests were nice alot seem to be long term. Internet very expensive.

Sydney Hostel review: The Maze Backpackers

Stayed in a single room. NO WALL PLUGS in rooms. Was not advised this which was annoying they will charge things at reception though. Room was not cleaned before I got there absoutely filthy. Staff were pretty good when I complained and had it cleaned within an hour or so. Bathrooms were a bit gross leaking taps everyhere. Kitchen not 24 hours. Bed vey uncomfortable. Would not recomend it. Cheap and nasty in this case.
