Vancouver Guesthouse review: Ellison House

Pros:
-Good, cheap accommodation if you want to visit Vancouver.

-Good access to North Vancouver and Seabus at Lonsdale Quay (10-15 min walk)

-Self catering facility allows you to save money on eating out

Cons:
-Shower and bath was out of action for 2 whole days whilst I was there! I'm sure this is a one off but it was still a big inconvenience and I was lucky I had the option to shower at a friend's house.

-Bathroom door didn't have a lock on it. This made me feel uncomfortable that my privacy was going to be compromised.

-Room didn't have a lock or a safe. I left my valuables in my room and anybody who stayed in the house could have come in and taken them.
