Perpignan Guesthouse review: Mas Camps

The property was a little further out from the main town than advertised. It was quite basic with loose bathroom fittings and the toilet smelt each time the water was turned on. No hot water in the morning of the first day but fine the next. Lovely people running it.

Paris Hotel review: Agil Hotel Le Pontel

This hotel is a nice enough area on the outskirts of Paris but is quite run down. We were initially given a room with no cold running water so couldn't flush the toilet!!

The nearest train station for the metro was a 20 minute walk into a slightly dodgy area so we ended up taking the car into Paris: 25-30 mins. unlike the 20 mins. shown in the description.

We had a good night sleep because we were shattered. It was very cheap for Paris so we got what we paid for - €40 per double room.
