I apologise for the huuuge gap in blogging, we are still alive, just a bit runnish at keeping you all informed.
The last part of our time in Australia was spent in a shared house in Balmain which is a ten minute bus journey out of Sydney Central. On one of our days there we walked towards the Centre along ANZAC Bridge which was gorgeous. We got only as far as Sydney Fish Market though, which has excellent and cheap seafood that you can eat sat on the waters edge (watch out for the seagulls though!)
We took a boat trip to Manly which is really gorgeous with stunning beaches but lots of spiders hanging from the trees :S. We went on a 9km walk around in the forests up to look over the sea, lovely weather and really pretty to see out. We caught the ferry back to Sydney at sunset and saw the sun setting behind Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Opera House which was pretty cool.
A recommendation if you are ever in Sydney is to check out the Lindt Cafe in Darling Harbour. The area is real
